Product Overview
Kolcaustico is a hiqh quality Venetian plaster with infinite possibilities for layering, color tinting and sheen level.
- Easy to apply with a surface knife or towel
- Untinted color: clean, soft white
- Can be tinted to create creamy pastels and contemporary neutrals or vibrant, highly saturated colors
- Tinting is recommeded with Mixol Universal Tints, up to 10% by volume

- Multiple layers can be applied to achieve a marble-like effect
- Translucent when applied thinly
- Can be polished with a blade to achieve a marble-like sheen
- A thin, even coat will dry within fifteen minutes
- Kolcaustico walls are cool and smooth to the touch
- Kolcaustico should be used on interior surfaces in dry environments only
- Covers up to 200 square feet per gallon depending on application
- Clean tools with soap and warm water
- For a textured, matte surface, mix dry pigments or marble dust into Kolcaustico Venetian plaster
- Faux fresco- color with Mixols and thin to paint-like consistency, apply over neutral color Kolcaustico and when dry, "wash" with neutral basecoat
- Can be sealed with a variety of materials; wax, acrylic-based waxes and soaps
- Creative use of sealers can bring another visual dimension to the finish, such as mica powders mixed with wax
