These tips are constructed with Blue Squirrel Hair which runs 2 inches long out of the card stock holder. The single tips are used with lighter leaf such as high karat genuine gold and the double tips are used with heavier leaf such as silver, palladium or low karat gold. The different widths are chosen depending the the size of the pieces of leaf to be worked with.
